Первый альбом «Experience» вышел 21 сентября 1992 года. До выхода «Experience» ещё ни кому не удавалось выпустить успешный полноценный hard dance альбом. Дебют The Prodigy, однако, разрушил доселе непоколебимые правила. Альбом состоял из нового материала группы, а также объединял наиболее удачные ремиксы, ему предшествующих синглов, что было по достоинству оценено тысячами людей, которые купили диск. Альбом сразу ворвался в чарты Великобритании и обосновался на 12 месте. Диск был признан «золотым». Следующий сингл «Out Of Space» незамедлительно очутился в «Top 15», также как и предшествующий ему сингл «Wind It Up (Rewound)».
